The Shade

   Psalm 91:1 "He that dwells in the secret place of the Most High shall abide under the shadow of the Almighty."
   Well since God is Pure Light and there is no darkness or shadow in Him, what shadow is He talking about? 

   Answer: Psalm 121:5 "The Lord is my keeper. The Lord IS MY SHADE on my right hand." 
   The Bible says "We are seated at the Lord's right hand"  

   RIGHT literally means 'Doing and being Right-not wrong' in the Bible.
Even in our society, 'Left' stands for those who oppose what's Right. 

   Since Jesus is seated at the "Right Hand of God" and we are seated at the Lord's Right Hand, then Jesus is between us and God;    He is our 'Go Between, our Intercessor, our Great High Priest Who ever lives to intercede for us to God, (Our Lawyer Supreme Who never loses a case).

   Since Jesus is between us and God, He is the One Who reveals the Love, the Heart, the Will, and plan of God for our lives. 
   Jesus then "Shades us" from the extreme power and presence of God that would literally burn us up if we were to approach Him in our natural state.
   When Peter walked in the power of God's anointing, his SHADOW falling on people healed them. That Shadow was Jesus Christ in Peter's life. 

   Oh Lord praise You for being allowed to come into the very presence of God our Heavenly Father "In the Spirit." 

   Your Word says as your children (of faith in Jesus) we can now come into the "Holy of Holys" "to find Grace to help in time of need."
   Thank You Father for welcoming us into Your Loving arms and draw near to Your heart. 

Lie Cancelling Power

   I do not like giving the enemy airtime however we have to know who he is and be aware of his tactics to defeat him.
   The devil is extremely surreptitious and sly. He deceived Eve and Adam and millions since.
   The Bible says he is more cunning than any beast of the field, however he is not God no matter how much he says he is. 
   
   We do not study witchcraft and satanic works in order to defeat him. That would prove not only dangerous but would result in no victory and be like going after a tank with a fly swatter.
   
   True believers in Jesus Christ seek the Truth that makes us free from lies of the devil AND his ability to deceive us. Jesus Christ IS THE TRUTH OF GOD!

   Folks, I have GREAT NEWS for everyone! 

JESUS CHRIST HAS ALREADY DEFEATED THE DEVIL FOR US. HE PARADED THE DEVIL BEFORE HIS PEERS, NAKED- 
STRIPPED OF ALL HIS WEAPONS. JESUS 'PUBLICLY' HUMILIATED HIM, THEN AROSE FROM THE GRAVE!

JESUS' POWER OF RESURRECTION WAS SO GREAT 500 BURIED SAINTS CAME UP OUT THE GROUND WITH HIM.

   Jesus then gave ALL believers in Him 'POWER OVER ALL THE POWER OF THE ENEMY."
   He said, "NOTHING BY ANY MEANS SHALL HURT YOU."

   Yes everyone who accepts Christ as Savior receives His 'Battle armor-the Armor of God.' (Ephesians 6:13-18).
   The Lord's helmet is your protection from being deceived. It is 'High Tech.' It has 'Lie Cancelling ear coverings' (like noise cancelling earphones). 
   Jesus said "You shall know the TRUTH and His Truth shall MAKE YOU FREE. 
   
   If all prisoners were SET free. Most would be back in prison in a short time. However if they were ALL MADE FREE by Jesus, then virtually NO ONE would return to prison.

   
   

What's Your Pleasure?

   The only safe place on earth is IN GOD. People take drugs to enter into a mindset of utopia. The pleasure drug addicts feel is a place of escape from their troubles.
   
   With drugs there are consequences and effects that are destructive, costly and deadly. 
   However we can experience pleasures here on earth which come from knowing God through faith in His Son Jesus Christ, that                     NOTHING IN THIS WORLD CAN MATCH! 

   I know for two reasons. 

1. God's Word is infallible and He cannot lie. HE SAID through Jesus (His Word [THE WORD WAS GOD] that became flesh and lived among us)
"MY PEACE I give you-NOT LIKE THE WORLD GIVES give I unto you." 
Note: His peace- the peace of God is absolutely PRICELESS, it banishes away ALL WORRY, ALL DEPRESSION, ALL FEAR OF DEATH, TORTURE, FAMINE,  EVEN SATAN HIMSELF AND ANYTHING HE PLANS AGAINST US. 

   How can we have this incredible peace and what about the pleasures we seek?
   First, by taking a leap of faith. Jesus Christ is God's ONLY plan of salvation. Ask Jesus to save you, to come into your heart; BELIEVE He became sin on the cross for you, that He shed His holy blood for you (JOHN 3:16). 
   He promised He would then NEVER leave you nor forsake you.

   "Seek you first the kingdom of God and HIS RIGHTEOUSNESS (Which you have, the moment you ask Jesus to save you) and the rest of these things (i.e. Peace, Joy, Health, Prosperity and PLEASURES) shall be added unto you.
Note: The above 'Things' are added-(Revealed to your heart, soul and mind) as you grow in the knowledge, will and understanding of God's heart toward you. 

   Yes, I said 'Pleasures' also.
Psalm 16:11 says "You will show me the path of life: in Your presence is fullness of Joy: at Your right hand, there are PLEASURES forevermore."
   Ephesians tells us, as believers in Christ, we ARE SEATED AT HIS RIGHT HAND IN HEAVENLY PLACES with Christ Jesus (Spiritually speaking).

  2.  Now the second reason I KNOW there are pleasures with God is because He physically touched me one night when I was asking Him if speaking in tongues was of Him or were the people imagining things.
   People, hear me and hear me good! I was hit with the power of God SO GREAT  (in a small prayer meeting) [To prove to me that 'Being slain the Spirit' was from God alone], 
   that a million, billion fireworks went off in my body, every nerve end exploding in the greatest feelings of pleasure any man could ever know.
I assure you, ALL of the greatest pleasures I could ever experience as a man, put together couldn't equal that one incredible, awesome moment. And I know it was but a foretaste of heaven with God.

   Acts 2:25, 28 Amp.
vs. 25. (For the Lord) is at my right hand that I may not be shaken (be afraid) or cast down (from my secure and happy state).
vs. 28. You have made known to me the "Ways of (Your) Life";
You will enrapture me (diffusing my soul with joy) with and in Your presence."
"In the presence of the Lord, there is fullness of joy."
