The Shade

   Psalm 91:1 "He that dwells in the secret place of the Most High shall abide under the shadow of the Almighty."
   Well since God is Pure Light and there is no darkness or shadow in Him, what shadow is He talking about? 

   Answer: Psalm 121:5 "The Lord is my keeper. The Lord IS MY SHADE on my right hand." 
   The Bible says "We are seated at the Lord's right hand"  

   RIGHT literally means 'Doing and being Right-not wrong' in the Bible.
Even in our society, 'Left' stands for those who oppose what's Right. 

   Since Jesus is seated at the "Right Hand of God" and we are seated at the Lord's Right Hand, then Jesus is between us and God;    He is our 'Go Between, our Intercessor, our Great High Priest Who ever lives to intercede for us to God, (Our Lawyer Supreme Who never loses a case).

   Since Jesus is between us and God, He is the One Who reveals the Love, the Heart, the Will, and plan of God for our lives. 
   Jesus then "Shades us" from the extreme power and presence of God that would literally burn us up if we were to approach Him in our natural state.
   When Peter walked in the power of God's anointing, his SHADOW falling on people healed them. That Shadow was Jesus Christ in Peter's life. 

   Oh Lord praise You for being allowed to come into the very presence of God our Heavenly Father "In the Spirit." 

   Your Word says as your children (of faith in Jesus) we can now come into the "Holy of Holys" "to find Grace to help in time of need."
   Thank You Father for welcoming us into Your Loving arms and draw near to Your heart.
