R. U. Strong and Mighty?

                             R.U. Strong and Mighty

             The Lord gives STRENGTH  to the humble. 
By Faith in the saving Power of the Lord we can believe He will also strengthen us in times of affliction and then AGAINST all affliction. 
   God promises to make us strong against temptation, against the lies of the devil, against the tribulations of life, against sickness and disease .
   Psalm 27:14 "Wait on the Lord: be of good courage, and He SHALL STRENGTHEN your heart; wait I say, on the Lord."

   We are told in the New Testament, "(Become and) Be STRONG  in the Lord and in the Power of His might."
   "So you, my son, be strong (strengthened inwardly) in the grace
(spiritual blessing) that is (to be found only) in Christ Jesus."

   Why does God want all believers made strong? Because weakness gains NO VICTORIES over sickness, sin or any works of the  devil. God gets no glory from weakness, only glory OVER it.
   We are created to give God Glory. That's why Psalm 29 says 
"GIVE unto the Lord, O YE MIGHTY, give unto the Lord, Glory and Strength."

   God is Almighty, so how can we give Him Glory and Strength?
Well, we give Him Praise and Thanksgiving. We give Him honor by seeking Him. So we do give unto God, but how do we give Him Glory and Strength?
   The answer lies in Psalm 29 verses 3-9. THE VOICE OF THE LORD... is with Power, Glory and Strength. 
Verse 9 shows the Lord's voice is in His people; "..in His temple (His body of believers) does every one SPEAK of His Glory."

   When people of God, speak God's Word, by the unction and anointing of the Holy Spirit, they are;
  "Mighty warriors, pulling down strongholds, and every high thing that exalts itself against the knowledge of God."
