Ole Slewfoot's A Liar

   
   Too many Christians don't know how to fight against sickness and disease in their bodies.
   As believers in Christ Jesus, we are to learn how to "Live by Faith." The Word says "When the Lord returns, will He find Faith on the earth?"
   Without Faith, it's impossible to please God. 
James 2:14-26 says Faith without 'Works' (Acting on and doing what God's Word says) is dead, being alone.
   
   Example; I know a man who had cancer symptoms with a lot of pain. He went to a doctor who tested him. Not long after, he went back to find out the results. In the doc's parking lot, his wife asked him, "Are you going to believe man's report. or are you going to ACT IN FAITH and believe the report of the Lord?"
   The man had to choose on the spot. So he said, "Honey, Jesus is "The Great Physician, Jehovah Rapha (our healer). WITH HIM  ALL things are possible and He forgives ALL our iniquities and heals ALL our diseases. So I choose to believe His Word." 
   He got back in his car and drove away, never finding out the doctor's test results.

   The pain grew worse. The man had pastors, friends and ministries pray for him, nothing helped. He was consumed with how bad  he felt, and what the devil was doing to him, so he let everyone know 
about THE DEVIL'S WORKS against him. 
   Literally he was preaching the devil's gospel, how strong the devil was without even realizing it.

   Until one day not long after, he told his wife how much pain he was in (He had no insurance, and did not want to pile up horrendous doctor and hospital bills, so he continued to wait on God to heal him.)
   Her wise answer was in essence, "Stop speaking what the devil's doing and SPEAK THE TRUTH."
   In an instant, the man realized what the Holy Spirit was revealing to him. Jesus Christ IS THE TRUTH and the devil is a LIAR.
THEREFORE ALL DISEASE AND SICKNESS SYMPTOMS
ARE A BALD FACED LIE.  
   Then the man remembered, Jesus became BOTH sin and sick for us on the cross. He became so disfigured with disease the Bible says (He was so ugly) "..that no man would desire Him (To save them)."
And Isaiah 53:5 says "..BY HIS (39) STRIPES (WHICH REPRESENTED  ALL categories of diseases (39 of them)  
WE ARE HEALED."    

   The man realized, he believed 'The Truth-Jesus' and not the devil WHO ALWAYS LIES.
   Therefore ALL the devil's symptoms are lies. So he quit asking for prayer, and began 'Thanking God' (Believing) for answering all prayers for him as Yes and Amen. Then he began (2 Cor. 2:14) Thanking God continually for his healing. He quit telling people about his pain and asking for prayer.

   Believing the health of Jesus Christ WAS HIS, bought for him an Calvary's cross, the man was totally healed in a few days. 

   To God be the glory!
   

Choose Life

   

   James 2:14 "What's the use, my brethren, for anyone to profess to have faith and has not - (Works of Obedience to do what God says)? Can Faith (Alone) save him?"

   vs. 17 "Faith without (Godly) works is dead, being alone."

   vs. 20 "Are you willing to be shown [proof], you foolish fellow, that Faith apart from [(good) works-(Obedience), is inactive and ineffective and worthless?"

   vs. 18 "If a man says "I have faith AND I have works [but has no proof of his works-(they are merely words without action) then I will SHOW proof of my Faith BY MY ACTIONS (Obedience)."

   The man Jesus met at the well (The pool of Bethesda) who was crippled for 36 years used excuses for NOT being healed.    
  "There's NO ONE (Blaming others) to put me in the pool first. I CAN'T get there first when the angel troubles the water!" (Notice: He kept SAYING "I CAN'T THIS AND I CAN'T THAT).  

                    Jesus ignored his feeble excuses.
 The cripple thought he was being truthful and honest but his reasons were NOT THE TRUTH.

   Jesus was the Truth. Jesus was The Resurrection and the Life. Jesus was Jehovah Rapha (Our Healer-The Great Physician).
 Jesus said to the crippled man "WILL YOU BE MADE WHOLE?"

    In other words, "No more excuses. Will you choose to be healed? Will you BELIEVE ME? You don't need an angel to come to you. You don't need to trust in someone else to help you. You ONLY NEED TO ACTIVATE YOUR FAITH IN ME.
                                (Faith of Obedience)
   Do what I tell you to do. "TAKE UP YOUR BED AND WALK." 

   "From the days of John the Baptist until now (til Jesus comes)
the kingdom of Heaven allows the violent (People of obedient faith) to "TAKE it-(Healing, Health, Deliverance) by (the) force (of Faith)." 

   People TAKE by Faith, Christ's healing and delivering power He PROVIDED by His Finished work on the cross of Calvary. He's not GOING TO HEAL, IT'S DONE. Our part is to dare and take it BY FAITH.
   
   James 2:26 "As the body without works is dead, so faith without  (Obedient) works is dead also."

   We are talking about Faith for healing here. Salvation faith can be assured while doubt or fear can interfere with healing.

   

Sayings

   The Pressing comes before the Blessing!

   Fear is the darkroom where people develop their negatives!

   A kite only rises AGAINST the wind!

   Without a battle there is no victory!

   The way up is down, on your knees!

   God accepts KNEE mail!

   Jesus! Don't leave earth without Him! 

   Any other way to God than Jesus is false, deception, lies, and the choice of those who choose hate over Love, death over life, and the devil over God. 

   God's will is no man perish. So CHOOSE LIFE, accept God's ONLY plan of redemption-Faith in Jesus Christ!

   One child asked in Sunday school, "If we're all God's children, 
where are all the parents?"

   God says "I did not call the equipped, I equip the "Called."

   Satan demands and pushes, God leads and guides.

   The world laughs in flowers, and God smiles Yes!
